Position
Summary:
The Director, Customer Partnership and Supply Orchestration (CPSO) and Lifecycle Business Processes works within Global Supply Chain's Process and Digital Excellence team and is responsible for Customer/Commercial and Lifecycle Management processes.
The role is responsible for process design, optimization, and improvement initiatives, with the goal of driving process efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability, and drive continuous improvement.
The role partners closely with the global supply chain CPSO leadership team and enterprise teams in GPS, Commercial, and Finance on a subset of the following core processes:
S&OP, S&OE, Product lifecycle - S&OP, New product launch, Divestiture and end of lifecycle processes (e.
g.
loss of exclusivity), Portfolio and product segmentation, Short term exception management (of issues), STEM, Product allocationKey Responsibilities Establish and monitor these enterprise process, including system strategy, KPIs and reporting tools, making decisions that balance end to end requirements, setting clear direction on the process, people, and technology interactions to deliver successful execution of product segmentation, supply/demand exception management, and product allocation Business Process Ownership:
Decision-maker on BMS' process design and technology, including standard definition of KPIs and metricsServe as the single point of contact for these processes, ensuring processes remain in a state of control and are both effective and efficient by reviewing trends in the system and issues, identifying, and recommending appropriate actions, activities, and projects for continuous improvements Process Evolution Roadmap Ownership and Execution:
Collaborate with BMS GPOs across supply, demand, Commercial, Finance, Business Continuity and Risk Management, and IT on the integration of these processes within the BMS integrated planning ecosystem; namely, the connectivity of S&OP and S&OEContinuous Improvement:
Leads all aspects of improvement leveraging business metrics and KPIs to define opportunities.
Support the development of the business case required for project approval, which will include digital solutions and resource investments.
Define process effectiveness monitoring methods, including establishment of metrics and associated targets, data collection and analysis, measurement, and reporting mechanisms Define Community of Practice (CoP), including roles, operating mechanisms, communication strategies and levels of training and access.
Provide leadership, coaching and training for CoP including both the technical processes and the behaviors necessary to optimize process execution Maintain the process library, knowledge and documentation captured for each process.
This knowledge should be contained in process documents such as training manuals, working instructions, SOPs, etc.
Provide appropriate process guidance and instruction Owns training curricula for global teams requiring these processes, onboards process participants, maintain process knowledge proficiency Best Practices & External Benchmarking:
Developing and leveraging a professional network to identify best practices as an essential approach to continuously improve BMS capabilities globally.
Assess BMS' process capabilities against external benchmarks as a critical input to drive continuous improvement.
